Privacy Policy — Griddo

Griddo ("the app") is a block-puzzle game published by CryoSim. This policy explains what information the app does and does not handle. In short: Griddo has no accounts and never asks for your name, e-mail, contacts or location. It sends CryoSim a scrambled device ID with your points, and anonymous usage events.

Information we collect

The app has no user accounts and requires no sign-in. When your phone is online, the app sends the following to CryoSim's own server (cryosim.com):

• Points: the app name, a scrambled device ID (a one-way code made from your phone's Android ID and the app's package name — the Android ID itself is not sent), your points balance, your own invite code and any invite code you entered. This is sent the first time you open the app, when you open it again (at most once every 10 minutes) and when you use the invite feature, so that a reinstall gives your points back.
• Anonymous usage events: a random ID created for this install, plus event names such as: app opened (the first one also says how the app was installed — source, medium and campaign from Google Play), screens viewed, features used, shares, seconds spent in the app, and when a game starts and ends, with its score. Our server does not store your IP address.

Your game boards are never sent.

Data stored on your device

Your best score, daily‑challenge streak, game statistics, points and settings are stored on your device. Apart from the points balance described above, they are not uploaded to us. If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may copy this app data into your Google account backup. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes it from the phone.

Sharing your result

The daily challenge includes an optional "Share result" button. When you tap it, your device's standard share sheet opens so you can choose where to send a short text summary of your score. Nothing is shared unless you choose to share it. The usage events record only that a share button was tapped, not what you sent or to whom.

Internet and permissions

The game itself works offline. The app does not access your microphone, camera, contacts, location, or files; it may ask to show notifications. Its internet connection is used for the points and usage events described above, and for Google Play's in-app update check, in-app review prompt and install referrer (which tells the app how it was installed).

Ads and analytics

The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. It does not use an advertising ID. It does use CryoSim's own first-party usage events described above; there is currently no in-app switch to turn them off.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It collects only the items listed above, the same for every user.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
