Our Apps are designed to work without you creating an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or phone number to use the core features. Depending on the App:
Our Apps and our website do not show ads. They contain no advertising SDK (such as Google AdMob), do not use your device's advertising ID, and do not share any of your data with advertisers.
Some Apps may offer an optional monthly subscription that unlocks premium features. A subscription bought inside an App is processed by Google Play Billing and handled under Google's Privacy Policy; a subscription or one-time purchase bought on cryosim.com is processed by our payment provider, Razorpay, under Razorpay's Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank details. You can cancel at any time — in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions, or in your cryosim.com account.
Some Apps also let you earn points (for example, by sharing the App) that can unlock premium features instead of paying. Points have no cash value; where an App keeps a points balance on our server, that App's own privacy policy describes exactly what is stored.
An App only requests the permissions it needs for its features — for example, notifications for daily reminders, or (where relevant) access to a file you explicitly choose to scan or set as wallpaper. You can review and revoke permissions any time in your device settings.
DayFlow also uses exact alarms so that a task reminder fires at the time you set, and starts after the phone restarts or the app is updated (run at startup) only to set those reminders again and refresh its widgets.
Daily app-open count. To count how many installs are still in use, our Android Apps send one short message to cryosim.com the first time you open an App each day. It contains only: which App it is, a random install ID the App creates for itself (not your device ID or advertising ID, and lost if you uninstall the App or clear its data), the date, the App's version, your phone's time-zone setting, and whether this is the install's first such message. We store it with the time it arrived; we do not store your IP address, and it is not linked to any account. It contains no location, no name or e-mail and nothing you enter in the App, and it is never used for advertising. An App may switch it off (MathMind does for players under 13).
Our Apps are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because most data stays on your device, you remain in control of it — uninstalling an App removes its locally stored data. Payment information is handled by Google Play or Razorpay and retained under their own policies.
Deleting your account. If you have a cryosim.com account you can delete it at any time at cryosim.com/account (sign in, then Delete Account). Deletion is immediate and permanent and removes your account profile (name, e-mail address, Google account ID, profile-photo link, recovery details, rank and vessel name) and the data linked to it: everything you saved in the cryosim.com apps (for example DayFlow tasks and notes, Stox portfolios, synced SIRE Pro and RightShip Pro projects, Slides decks, Projex, Quizly and EchoDoc files), your Board posts, comments and uploads, support messages, push-notification subscriptions, signed-in devices, shares, your company-licence membership, and your app access. Any active subscription is cancelled first. What we keep: records of payments and subscriptions, because tax and accounting law requires us to keep them; they are kept without your name or e-mail address and no longer linked to an account. If you were a member of a company licence, that organisation's licence change log is kept with your e-mail address removed. We record only the date of a deletion and how many items were removed. Data on your device is not affected — uninstall the App or clear its data to remove it.
Our website (cryosim.com) uses first-party analytics only — we do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics service, and no site-usage data is shared with third parties. It records anonymous, aggregate feature-usage events solely to help us understand which features are used, in aggregate.
cryosim_login) — set when you sign in, so you stay signed in
on that browser or phone for 30 days after your last visit, even after closing it. You can be signed in on several
devices at once. It holds a random code; we store only a one-way hash of that code with your account, when it was
created and last used, and a short device label (for example “Chrome on Android”). Both cookies are
HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax.SIRE Pro and RightShip Pro are inspection-preparation web apps on cryosim.com (they can also be opened inside our Android apps). This section describes what they do with your data.
Usage analytics in these apps follow section 8.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
