SELECT ZONE
Per FSS Code Ch.5 §4.1 — zone selector valve must be positioned before discharge. Only one zone can be selected at a time.
DISCHARGE SEQUENCE — STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURE
STEP 1 — PRE-ALARM
1Activate pre-alarm — audible/visual warning throughout protected space. Minimum 20 seconds per SOLAS.
Confirm all personnel have evacuated protected space.
STEP 2 — VENTILATION STOP
2Stop all supply and exhaust ventilation fans serving the protected space.
Confirm fan stopped status on VFD / MCC panel.
STEP 3 — DAMPER CLOSURE
3Close all 6 boundary dampers — confirm closed indication on each.
Confirm 6/6 dampers closed on status panel.
STEP 4 — 20-SECOND DELAY
420-second abort window begins. Abort available until counter expires.
Delay counter: --
STEP 5 — CO₂ RELEASE
5CO₂ pilot cylinders actuated — zone valve opens — main bank discharges.
CO₂ concentration: 0.04% v/v
