First: what is SIRE 2.0?
SIRE (Ship Inspection Report Programme) is run by OCIMF, the oil companies’ marine forum. Oil companies use its inspection reports to decide whether to hire a tanker. SIRE 2.0 is the current version: the inspector asks set questions and checks the evidence, and gaps are recorded as observations.

Checks by rank and by location
Every check points to the SIRE 2.0 question number it supports, with CryoSim’s own plain notes: what the inspector looks at and what evidence to show.

Readiness and the countdown
The bar at the top of Home shows the days to the inspection, the % of questions covered for your vessel type and the number of open issues. “Do this next” suggests the most useful next step.

Action list and PDF report
Every issue and remark with an owner and due date collects in one list. From there you can make a PDF readiness report for the office.

Practise the inspection
Rehearse answers with the rank drills (Face the inspector) and run a timed Mock inspection that gives you a short report.
Home and the Guidance tab
Likely targets (Risk)
Tick the areas where your ship had recent port-state control problems, or paste the list and tap Scan. The app flags the questions an inspector is most likely to probe.

PIQ / HVPQ consistency check
Paste the particulars block from your PIQ, your HVPQ or both. The app lines them up with each other and with the vessel particulars you entered, flags every field that disagrees and checks the IMO number. Nothing is saved or sent; the latest result goes into the PDF readiness report as its own page.

Team and your company SMS
The Master merges each officer’s file into one picture. Load your company’s Safety Management System documents once and each question shows your own procedure pages.
