3Sign-in, data & privacy
- No account and no sign-up — just a nickname and, if you like, a photo.
- Which apps you use never leaves your phone. Only your total minutes for today and this hour are sent to the leaderboards, shown with your nickname and area.
- Your location is used only to put you on the Area, City, State and Country boards. It is never shown to others.
4Common questions
Why does it need Usage Access?
It is Android’s permission for reading how long apps are open on screen. Without it the app cannot measure your screen time.
Does music or maps with the screen off count?
No. Only time an app is open on your screen counts. Android Auto and camera apps are left out of your ranked total.
When does my day reset?
At midnight on your phone’s own clock, wherever you live.
Why am I not on the City board?
Open the You tab, fill in Your location and tap Save location.
Why did my streak go back to 0?
Android keeps only about 7 days of usage history. If you don’t open the app for more than 7 days, the streak starts again.
Is there an iPhone or PC version?
No. Detox Arena is an Android app.
