Four-gas pump-aspirated confined space monitor: combustible %LEL, oxygen vol%, carbon monoxide ppm and hydrogen sulfide ppm. This is the instrument class that draws its sample down a hose, so every reading arrives late — and the trainee has to learn to wait the transit out, survey a space at more than one level, and recognise a flow failure instead of trusting a frozen display. Aligned to enclosed space entry practice under IMO Resolution A.1050(27) and SOLAS XI-1/7.
