How do I set a HueWalls design as my wallpaper?
Tap a design, then tap Download. It is saved as a PNG image — open it in your gallery or Photos app and choose "Set as wallpaper".
What resolution are the downloads?
Each PNG is drawn on your own device at your screen's pixel size (capped at 1440 × 3120), so it is not an upscaled small image.
What is an AMOLED wallpaper?
A pure-black or very dark background. On phones with an OLED screen, black pixels are switched off, so a dark wallpaper can use a little less battery.
Can I make my own gradient wallpaper?
Yes. Open Create, pick two or three colours, choose Linear, Radial or Mesh, set the angle and download. "Surprise me" picks random colours for you.
Do I need an account?
Not to start. You can browse and preview every design and download 3 wallpapers a day without an account; sign in free with Google for unlimited downloads. Nothing is uploaded — every design is drawn in your browser on your own device.
