The rules
How the FLAMES game works
- Write both names and cross out the letters they share, one-for-one.
- Count the letters left over in both names together.
- Count that many steps around F-L-A-M-E-S and strike out the letter you land on.
- Carry on from the next letter until one is left: Friends, Love, Affection, Marriage, Enemies or Siblings.
Example: Rahul & Priya share R and A, leaving 6 letters — counting 6 lands on Marriage. It is a letter-counting game, not a prediction; play it for the laugh. Try it with your own names →
FLAMES game — questions
What is the FLAMES game?
A classic school-days name game. Each letter of FLAMES is an outcome — Friends, Love, Affection, Marriage, Enemies, Siblings — and two names are counted down to one of them.
How do I play FLAMES online?
Open FlamesFun, type your name and their name, and tap Calculate. The letters cancel and the result appears in a couple of seconds.
Can FLAMES really tell if two people are compatible?
No. FLAMES is a fun letter-counting game, and the love %, zodiac and numerology tabs are for fun too. Nothing in FlamesFun predicts a real relationship.
Do I need an account or an app?
No app needed: it runs in your browser, nothing to install. Without an account you get 3 free readings a day; sign in free with Google for unlimited readings. Your recent results stay on your own device.
Can I share my FLAMES result?
Yes. Every result has a Share the result row — your phone’s share sheet, WhatsApp or copy — so you can send it to the friend you just tested.
