Mental maths game — questions answered

Is MathMind free?
Yes. Everything is free today: all 26 topics, all seven modes, the Daily Challenge and the world board. The browser game needs no account and has no ads, and the Android app is a free download on Google Play.
What age is this mental maths game for?
Ages 4 to adult. You set the player’s age (4 to 18+) and MathMind picks one of ten difficulty bands, from Little Sprout up to Pro — which decides the topics that appear and how hard each one gets.
Which maths topics does MathMind cover?
26 topics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, order of operations, integers, fractions, decimals, percentage of, what percent, percent change, ratio & proportion, profit & loss, simple interest, compound interest, exponents & powers, squares, cubes & roots, HCF & LCM, simple equations, evaluating expressions, algebraic terms, perimeter & area, lines & angles, rounding & estimation, arithmetic progression and trigonometric values. The topic map follows the CBSE syllabus. See which topics each age practises, with example questions.
What game modes are there?
Seven: Arena (ranked — 90 seconds, 3 lives, combo multipliers), Daily Challenge (10 problems, the same for everyone of your age today), Level Journey (100 levels of 5 questions), Timed Sprint, Adaptive Ladder (harder as you get them right), Fixed Set and Relaxed Endless (no timer).
How does the world leaderboard work?
Arena runs count towards a world board that starts fresh every week, with an all-time board alongside it. You appear under a play name built from a fixed word list plus a number — no free text, no account, no email — and you can remove your scores from the board at any time.
Can I work problems out on paper instead of in my head?
Yes. On the setup screen choose Physical instead of Mental. In the Android app, Physical mode adds an on-screen scratchpad to work on.
What does the Android app add?
The same game and topics, plus daily quests with XP, achievements, the scratchpad, and an optional daily reminder to keep your streak going.
