Two calculators on one tab. CAGR gives the steady yearly growth rate that turns a starting value into an ending value; simple interest gives the interest on a principal with no compounding.

National Pension System — corpus at 60, then min 40% buys an annuity (pension).

What today's money will cost — and be worth — in the future.
CAGR = (Final ÷ Initial)1 ÷ years − 1 · SI = P × R × T ÷ 100
CAGR smooths out the ups and downs along the way; it says nothing about how bumpy the path actually was.
Two quick cases:
| ₹1 lakh → ₹2 lakh in 6 years | CAGR 12.25% a year |
|---|---|
| ₹1 lakh at 8% simple, 5 years | interest ₹40,000, total ₹1,40,000 |
Doubling in 6 years is a CAGR of about 12.25% — close to the "rule of 72" estimate of 72 ÷ 6 = 12%.
Load these numbers into the calculator →Absolute return is the total gain as a percentage of the start value (₹1 lakh to ₹2 lakh is 100%). CAGR spreads that gain over the years as a compound yearly rate.
