41 questions in RISQ 3.2

  • The emergency generator is often started during a visit, so it should start and take load without delay or coaxing.
  • Insulation and earth-fault readings show how the electrical plant is cared for, so the trend matters more than one reading.
  • Alarm and fire detection panels with standing faults or isolated zones draw attention and need a clear, logged reason.
  • Lock-out and tag-out is a visible sign of electrical safety culture and should be seen in use, not only kept on file.

RightShip Pro is an independent preparation tool made by CryoSim. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by RightShip. The notes and checks on these pages are CryoSim's own preparation guidance, not RightShip question text; section numbers, titles and question counts refer to the published RISQ 3.2 questionnaire. The current RightShip publications, your company's SMS and flag requirements always take precedence. Tanker? See the SIRE 2.0 checklists.
